AtlasResume ("we", "us", or "our") operates the AtlasResume web application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.
1.2 Resume & Career Data
To provide our resume building service, we store the content you enter or upload, including work experience, education, skills, projects, certifications, and contact information. If you upload a CV document (PDF), we process and store the extracted text and structured data.
1.3 Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with our service, including pages visited, features used, AI request counts (for quota management), and general usage patterns. This data is used to improve our service and enforce plan limits.
1.4 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment provider (Paddle). We do not store your credit card number or full payment details. We only receive subscription status, plan type, and transaction identifiers necessary to manage your account.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the service — Build, store, and export your resumes, cover letters, and job matching results.
- AI features — Process your resume content through AI models to generate bullet points, summaries, skill suggestions, content improvements, and job-targeted optimizations. AI processing is performed via Cloudflare Workers AI.
- CV parsing — Extract and structure data from uploaded CV documents using text extraction and AI parsing.
- Job matching — Compare your resume against job descriptions to calculate match scores and suggest improvements.
- Account management — Manage your subscription, enforce plan limits, and communicate service-related updates.
- Service improvement — Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve features and user experience.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your resume data is stored in a secure database. Uploaded CV documents are stored in encrypted cloud storage.
We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication with hashed passwords, and token-based session management. Access to your data is restricted to authenticated requests with your credentials.
4. AI Processing & Third-Party Services
Our AI features are powered by Cloudflare Workers AI. When you use AI-powered features (content generation, resume analysis, job matching), relevant portions of your resume data are sent to Cloudflare's AI infrastructure for processing. Cloudflare processes this data according to their privacy policy and does not use your data to train their models.
We use the following third-party services:
- Cloudflare — AI processing, document storage, and content delivery
- Paddle — Payment processing and subscription management
- Google OAuth — Optional sign-in authentication
- Resend — Transactional email delivery
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or resume content with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with the third-party services listed above, strictly for the purpose of providing our service functionality.
6. Data Retention
Your account data and resume content are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data, resumes, uploaded documents, and associated embeddings from our systems within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and download your resume data at any time
- Update or correct your personal information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your resumes as PDF documents
- Opt out of non-essential communications
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are necessary for the service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
AtlasResume is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
