Terms of Service

Welcome to AtlasResume. By accessing or using our web application and related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration

To use AtlasResume, you must create an account using your email address and password, or sign in through Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

2. Service Description

AtlasResume is an AI-powered resume builder platform that provides:

• Resume creation and editing with professional templates
• AI-powered content generation, analysis, and improvement suggestions
• CV document upload and parsing
• Smart job matching with keyword optimization
• AI cover letter generation
• PDF export of resumes and cover letters
• Resume scoring and analysis

3. Free & Pro Plans

AtlasResume offers a Free plan with limited features and Pro plans with enhanced capabilities. The Free plan includes 1 resume, 10 AI requests per month, and the Classic template. Pro plans unlock unlimited resumes, unlimited AI requests, all 7 templates, job matching, cover letter generation, and additional features.

We reserve the right to modify plan features, pricing, and limits at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified of material changes before they take effect.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

Pro plan subscriptions are processed through Paddle, our third-party payment provider. By subscribing to a Pro plan, you agree to Paddle's terms of service and authorize recurring charges according to your selected billing period (weekly, monthly, or quarterly).

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with AtlasResume. If you are not happy with your purchase, the following refund policy applies:

• Weekly plans — Due to the short billing cycle, weekly subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• Monthly plans — You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase if you have not extensively used Pro features. After 7 days, you can cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds will not be issued for the remaining period.
• Quarterly plans — You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase if you have not extensively used Pro features. After 14 days, you can cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds will not be issued for the remaining period.
• Renewals — Automatic renewal charges are refundable within 48 hours of the renewal date if you did not intend to continue your subscription.
• Mobile purchases — Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to the respective platform's refund policy. Please contact Apple or Google directly for refund requests on in-app purchases.

To request a refund, please contact us at bahadir@atlasresume.com with your account email and reason for the request. Refunds are processed through Paddle and typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

6. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or enter into AtlasResume, including resume data, cover letters, and uploaded CV documents. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your resumes, career data, or any other user-generated content. You may export or delete your content at any time.

7. AI-Generated Content

AtlasResume uses artificial intelligence to generate resume content, suggestions, and analysis. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content in your resume before using it for job applications.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. AI suggestions should not be considered professional career advice.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Create resumes containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Abuse AI features through automated scripting, excessive requests, or circumventing rate limits
• Share your account credentials with others or create multiple free accounts to bypass plan limits
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or content designed to exploit the Service
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or infringe upon the rights of others

9. Intellectual Property

The AtlasResume platform, including its design, code, templates, AI models integration, algorithms, and branding, is the intellectual property of AtlasResume. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform or templates without our written permission.

Resume templates are licensed for personal use within the Service. The visual design of exported PDFs is for your personal and professional use in job applications.

10. Service Availability

We strive to keep AtlasResume available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

AtlasResume is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

We are not responsible for the outcome of job applications submitted using resumes or cover letters created with our Service. We do not guarantee employment or interview outcomes.

12. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
